So, I am very new at blogging, even though I have been around Second Life for around six years now. And a young poses company, [DB]Poses, trusted me enough to make me one of their bloggers ( thank you so much, Denny Ballyhoo, for being my first sponsor ). This came as a surprise, as I never thought I would blog poses. But it happened and it makes me very happy, and I am truly enjoying myself as the possibilities are infinite and I happen to like that.

The poses review copies started arriving, and among them, single female and male poses, and couple poses for lovers and friends. Which made me want to try everything, instead of doing only the female single poses. So I got a couple old avatars back, and after a complete make over ( this guy looked scary in his 2009 freebies lol ) they became decent enough to be photographed and blogged. The Mens Department is a blessing when you don’t know anything about men’s fashion in Second life. In fact, I thought  H a d e s  looked so sexy I married him haha :D. So from now on, you might see posts including Krystal Klear, F o x y g i r l   S o n g  and  H a d e s   M o n k.

I have worked with two avatars on the post Feelings already. This is new for me, as I wasn’t used to shoot two avatars at once, and I have a lot to learn about how to use Lumipro to do that. When I did the credits for this post, I was amazed at how easy is it to credit a guy’s details, no make up, jewelry,etc, that make the girl’s credits so much longer (although H a d e s has lashes that I bought accidentally on the Marketplace, not knowing I was on his account lol, it can be confusing to work with three different avatars).

So, this is the first time ever I try to do pictures with two avatars, I must say I struggled a bit, first because my beloved macbook does not like me to open two Firestorm windows at the same time, I asked for help in the Firestorm support group but the solutions offered on the wiki page they sent me too are a bit too geeky for me, I did try but I’m probably not smart enough because nothing worked. Eventually I used a Firestorm window for one avatar and an Alchemy window for the second, and that did the trick. I will need more training to use the Lumipro for two simultaneous models but I think it’s really interesting, and opens a lot of new possibilities. I had been thinking about modelling two avies for a while, and this is just a first try. I grabbed another old avatar of mine and proceeded to a complete make over, trying to make her look like Krystal but different. And then I thought I was going to use two single poses in the same picture but finally I chose to use a couple pose to show them together. I picked this “Feelings” pose, I think it’s pretty cute 🙂 Also, hairs, skins, clothes all come from Collabor88, except for the shoes that come from The Chapter Four, and Lola’s adorable collar from ON9.

Happy Birthday, Chapter Four !

So I went to The Chapter Four birthday party and I liked what I found there, everything was springy and fresh and I discovered a few brands I did not know yet, like Breathe shoes and Kitja destroyed and cute blue jeans. I got the Rare C’est la Vie bag at the first try in the gacha, woot ^^, and pretty flowers for my hair in another gacha. I love gachas (sometimes). This Nudolu top was just so cute with its embroidered swallow. And I visited The Hydra Isles at Umbral, it is a very nice spot for photography, you’ll see more of it if you just click on the little pictures on the right side of the blog, they’ll take you right to my flickr pages where I always have more pictures than here. Here is for babbling and giving credits, and flickr is for photography, they are just complementary.
